Elos Medtech becomes 100% Medical
As a completion of the direction started 50 years before the executive board finalised the divestment of the metrology division, fully focussing on Medical Device and Medical Technology.
Elos Medtech acquires Microplast AB
The acquisition of Microplast AB, company based in Sweden and specialized in injection-molding for medical technology products, complemented the precision-mechanics expertise in the Medical Technology business area.
Elos Medtech Rebranding
To further clarify the focus on prevision MedTech the group embraces the name Elos Medtech with a split into 3 divisions: Dental, Orthopedics and Medical Device.
Elos AB Group enters the Chinese market
Expanding a cooperation with Novo Nordisk started in 1985 for the development and production of mechanical components, Elos signs a new agreement to participate in the creation of a new facility in Tianjin, China. Following this agreement, Elos Group establishes commercial operations in the Chinese market.
Westergyllen becomes Elos AB
In May of the same year the new strategic intent of the Company is re-defined with a clear focus on Precision Technology applied to MedTech. The Company changed the name to Elos AB emphasizing this new direction.
